Tap2Eat is a digital mobile platform that uses cutting edge FinTech to enable public primary school children access nutritious food for education.Parents pay for subsidized school lunches using mobile money (which has near 100% penetration in Kenya). The amount is credited to a virtual wallet linked to an “NFC-technology” enabled smart wristband, which students use to then ‘tap to eat’ in under 5 seconds.

How it works
Parents dial a ussd code *647# to onboard and self register their children.
Parents and donors could easily contribute through M-Pesa, that is already integrated into our platform.
After parents pay for subsidized school lunches using mobile money, students use the smart wristbands to ‘tap to eat’ in under 5 seconds.
Parents would register on a USSD channel that's accessible on any mobile phone or network across Kenya.
